Park naming postponed.

Port Phillip Conservation Council

Concerns over Jet skis.
Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 17th at 7pm at the Chelsea Community Centre. Kathleen McKinnis will speak on Port Phillip tidal movements and erosion.

Environment and Open Spaces Strategic Advisory Committee

Open Space Strategy is starting from scratch. A draft is being prepared.

Apply to Melbourne Water for a grant (Max $1000)

Kingston Council Housing Strategy Consultation

Planning Scheme amendment is up for consultation. Leaflets from Kingston Residents Association were distributed in areas threatened with over development ( 3 stories).

Other

Edithvale Wetlands.

Concerns that last Summer it didn’t drain. Is this due to trenched rail? Needs to be investigated. Can Level Crossing Removal Authority make their monitoring public? Environmental Effects Statement, was anything done? Our wonderful RAMSAR wetland may be threatened

Kingston Heath Reserve

Plans for a synthetic hockey pitch in the middle of the reserve.
Submissions are due by October 9th.

Delta Site

Liberals have pledged to prevent the Train Stabling Yard if they win at the next election.
