Speaker
Wayne Imlach, Member of Mordialloc Creek community and author of Mordialloc Creek to Lambert Island. Wayne gave an interesting talk about his history and his work monitoring the Creek.
He donated five books to MBCL, which will be on sale for $15.
Wayne has offered to have a meeting at his home in 2023, where he would be happy to share a digital presentation of the Creek.

Kingston Aquatic and Leisure Centre Community Reference Group
The Community Reference Group was selected in September with 25 members, KRA and MBCL are not represented but the Friends of Mordialloc Catchment are by Nina. The first informal meeting was at Council Chambers on Wednesday 26th October with an independent facilitator, which was friendly and enjoyable. Overall, and notionally, members prefer a modest building that fits well with the creek and reserve setting, is sustainable in construction and operation, with a pool/leisure complex that is flexible for varying needs of users. Chlorine pool water would be discharged into the sewer system and not into Mordialloc Creek, and parking entry would be off Governor Road.
