Golf Course Redevelopment Guidelines were set up to allow Kingswood Golf Course to be developed.

A 1000 have been printed, where can we sell them at $2 each? suggestions were newsagencies, Kingston Council Offices, libraries, cafes, Mordialloc Neighbourhood house, Historical Society, Politician’s offices. Getting boxes for money and stands for booklets.

Ask Cr Sarah O’Donnell to speak at the AGM. Suggested she speak on State Government overriding Council on Infrastructure and Planning matters.

Council Update
Ordinary Council Meeting
A motion about the care of animals disrupted by the construction of the Suburban Rail Loop (by Cr Georgia Erevnidis).
Southern Road development on HELLA site, residents want Southern Road to be extended through the airport.
A motion to investigate a replacement underpass under Mordialloc Creek Rail Bridge failed.
Cnr Sarah O’Donnell spoke on Rossdale Golf Course and was applauded.
LXRA and the Mordialloc Railway precinct
LXRP representatives attended the Mordialloc Creek Community and were unhappy with questions concerning the close of the underpass under Mordialloc Creek Rail Bridge. They will not be attending again apparently.
No seeds from Groves Reserve have been passed on to Council. There will be a meeting next year to discuss replanting. This meeting was initiated by Bruce Cutts.

Green Wedge Coalition
Place of Worship in Pearcedale refused by VCAT based on ecological concerns. Parliamentary Committee recommended that Green Wedges be used for food production and open rural spaces. State Government has refused most recommendations particularly non discrepancy use of land.
Port Phillip Conservation Council.
Geoffrey Goode wants to replace historical pine recently removed opposite the old Beaumaris Hotel.
Council and residents don’t want to pay for the cliff subsidence at Mc Crae as it is on private property.
PACE development on Olivers Hill is at VCAT.
Kingston Residents Association
Stakeholders should be included in the Priority Projects Standing Advisory Committee. Not just the relevant authorities.
Mentone Hotel development Update – KRA have authorised Rosemary West to represent them at the VCAT compulsory conference and hearings regarding 95-97 Beach Rd Mentone.
Environment and Open Spaces Advisory Committee
Emily Boucher said that the committee may be closing down.
She brought members up to date on the LXRP plans for Groves Reserve.
